Providence Health Care Staffing considers your benefits as one of most important things we can provide. We are constantly striving to improve our benefits to reward you for the loyalty and care you give to your patients.

  • Nationwide Assignments: We have assignments available in over 35 states across the US.

  • Friendly and Professional Staff: Our staff is committed to providing the best travel assignments possible. We maintain a small recruiter to traveler ratio to provide personal attention to your needs.

  • Referral Bonuses: Refer a friend and receive a check for $300 upon completion of an assignment with PHCS.

  • Premium Pay Rates: You can expect to earn some of the highest pay rates in the travel industry.

  • Private/Furnished Housing or Subsidy: We work hard to provide nice fully furnished and private housing for our travelers. If you choose to arrange your own housing we will offer a non-taxable housing subsidy.

  • Generous Round Trip Travel Allowance: You will receive a travel allowance that is appropriate for your assignment.

  • Health Insurance: We offer group health PPO coverage with United Health Care, beginning 30 days after start of assignment. Dependent coverage is also available for qualified dependants at an additional cost.

  • License Reimbursement: PHCS will reimburse the cost of a permanent license for states that you choose to accept an assignment in, but are not licensed.

  • 401K: Travelers may begin investing upon start of an assignment, and PHCS will match $.50/$1.00 up to 3% of income. Travelers are fully vested after 2 years (1000 working hours per year). 401K managed by Northwestern Mutual.

  • PHCS Loyalty Points Program: If you choose not to participate in 401K, you are eligible for the loyalty points program. For each qualified hour worked, you will earn one Loyalty Point. Upon completion of 2040 hours of service with PHCS, you will receive a check for $1020.00 (2040 x $.50) on the check date following the completion of 2040 hours. Upon the completion of each 2040 hours thereafter, you will receive a check for Loyalty Points.

    • There can be a maximum of one week between each assignment to be eligible for Loyalty Points.
    • On call hours or “non-productive” hours are not qualified hours.
    • Qualified hours are regular hours, overtime hours, and callback hours.
